We Tata in style!

Motor manufacturer Tata is sponsoring SA Horseman's mother company, Plaas Publishing, with two brand new vehicles, a Tata Vista Ini, as well as a Tata Xenon bakkie with a 2,2 litre direct common rail diesel motor, creating 103 kW and 320N talk at 1 800 rpm. It has a loading capacity of 1,2 tons and a price tag of R154 000. These bakkies run at an economy rate of around 13,5 km per litre.

According to Leon van der Merwe, dealer principle of Tata Highlands North, as well as manager of Tata SA's Light Commercial Vehicle division, this sponsorship deal provides a good opportunity for Tata SA to build relationships with specific sectors of South African society, such as the equestrian community.
