No-spill water carriers
by

Plastic water containers with spouts and lids are handy, but you may not always have one available. When you're hauling water in buckets, one way to make sure that you don't accidentally spill it, is to put a plastic trash bag into the bucket, fill the plastic bag with water and then tie a knot in the top of the bag. The water cannot splash out, even if the bucket tips.

You can haul water this way in a wheelbarrow, the trunk of your car, or on the back of a pickup. Once you arrive at your destination, just untie the bag, fold the top of the plastic bag down over the sides of the bucket, and pour out the water or let the horses drink from the bag while it is in the bucket.
