The work book was comprehensive with objectives, lessons and questionnaires; included were colour photographs and captions explaining things even more clearly and as if this wasn't enough a DVD showing demonstrations of how to achieve the objectives and how the horse and handler should respond. The audio-visual information and workbook was so comprehensive that I never once felt confused or flustered about what they wanted me to achieve...(I) felt that the money spent was worth it in both materials received and knowledge gained and I am excited to continue on this journey with the Institute of Horsemanship and its teacher. I urge (all)... who are interested in any of the upcoming modules to try one as by the end of the module, I am confident you will feel a sense of achievement as I have and probably end up being hooked on doing more.

Although I had already learnt some aspects of leading when I had lessons...I must admit that it was of great value to me because it covers all aspects of leading. It gave me a better understanding of the whole subject.

This programme was so good to me as I learnt so much. I never realised that correct leading translated to under-saddle work. Now I know that it does. Please offer us more programmes!

I find the modules most informative and helpful, especially when training young horses. The horses respond so well and the owners have been amazed at how quickly a "green" unschooled horse can change its whole manner to become a compliant and respectful horse. The Training Forum has been invaluable and Eeben seems to always have the answer when I am stumped. The sharing of experience and knowledge in such an encouraging manner is refreshing in the horse world where training secrets are seldom shared. The theory together with the visual DVD has been put together in a very understandable and practical manner.

I always find that you put your theory material into such a practical no nonsense manner. Most of what I am learning I have been doing with my young horses without having put it into words.
I like the small steps taken instead of mighty leaps and the horses respond so much better without any rodeo or anxiety. The last 6 horses I have started have all been IH methods and not one has been anxious or stressed by the time we put a foot in the saddle- (not one buck). And on my part - no more broken ribs.

I have always tried to ask my horses to do what I expect of them in a soft and fair manner, but it is only when I started using the advice and the methods that I have learned from the Institute that I started getting results. Since I have been using the knowledge that I have gained through the Institute's programmes, I can honestly say that I have had astonishing results. ld like to take this opportunity to express my thanks to the Institute of Horsemanship team and I am looking forward to the next course. I only wish that more people could have this knowledge. I have found the course material and DVD to be easy to understand and of great value, if I am in doubt I can always go back to my material or the Training Forum. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us so we can make this place better for horses and riders.
