Institute of Horsemanship
A new concept in horsemanship
The Institute of Horsemanship is a South African-based and driven institute that offers a diverse new training concept to equestrians the world over.
Researched, developed, written, managed and run by trainers and horsemen of international standing, the Institute aims to encourage equestrians from all disciplines to study, practise and apply sound and responsible horsemanship principles utilising the nature of the horse.
To achieve this aim, the Institute offers distance-learning horsemanship programmes to its students, enabling them to achieve the results they wish within the comfort of their own surroundings.
The professionally prepared content for each stand-alone programme includes:
- A comprehensive DVD or video that covers, in detail, each subject
- A workbook containing comprehensive course notes on each programme
- A dedicated student email address for one-on-one contact with the Institute
- Support and assistance in solving problems related to each subject
- Student testing and certification by means of an open-book examination as well as a video assignment for each subject
- Access to specialised equipment
The Institute's "train-alone-at home" programmes are ideal for the student of horsemanship who is unable to travel in order to attend clinics and lessons.
